Blueprint/Nike SB Exhibit

Last Thursday was Go Skateboarding Day and in the evening the Blueprint/Nike SB 'Standing on the Shoulders of Giants' exhibition opened in Brick Lane. Paul made it down for the evening with MN friends Ray, Gorm, Mark Brewster, Kevin Parrott and Irish Steve and from the three scimitars Chelmsfordian Macy made it down too. The show is amazing with loads of old Blueprint goodness and new Nike SB photos and shoes. Another highlight is the Made For Skate skate shoe exhibit which will make everyone smile thinking back to the old classic skate shoes they used to rock skating the curb outside their house as a kid. The show is on for another couple of weeks and is well worth a trip down to visit. More details can be found over at Blueprint.

'Into the Fall' Week...

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the premiere of 'Into the Fall' and to celebrate all this week we are going to be uploading parts of the video culminating on Friday with a little surprise!

The last twelve months have flown by and loads of things have changed. The new Monster network video project is building up serious momentum and we think is going to be rather interesting...we'll be releasing more details about that project and some other recent video projects in the next few weeks.

Today we've added to the 'Into the Fall' watch online page the Titles and the rather awesome Sandy and Steve Bailey part, alot of people's favourite section highlighting the mix of old and new but all heavily steezed out! Check back each day this week for more parts.

Monster Network chairman of the board Adam Whitaker has been clearing out his parent's shed and as well as finding his first skate shoes (airwalk flames, for the record) and a powell fly tee he came across this piece of gold from 1992. Keeping it a Southend biased week...Southend legend Fraser Campbell put together some old Rampage/Leigh on Sea footage filmed around 1999. OG Monster Network and Chelmsford ruler Justin Carline has some savage footage up in here as does fellow MN head Dan Tubb plus a load of Leigh locals and Southend rippers. RIP Leigh and Alan.
