'Back In Time' in Chelmsford...

Not the restaurant everyone has their 16th birthday at (and with a kitchen run previously by monster networkos) but more the roll down memory lane that happened last sunday. After a video stoke up of EE0, EE3 and Krooked Gnar Gnar and a boot full of twigs Veran, Gonz and Russ hit the A12 southbound and meet up with Toby, Barry and Macy in chelmsford to hit up some of the oldest of old street spots for the day. First up, at the white bar, on black tarmac, near the station. downhill lines for days. Once the car legs had dispersed on to the records ditch and the gas works. russ' disappointment with the spot was like a kid expecting a bike for christmas and getting a stocking full of tangerines. ah well! on to the legendary mile away banks. toby wreaked shop putting down some footage for the new vid with authority. last spot was the ancient and holy chelmsford bank to wall plus the only decent handrail in chelmsford. the road was closed by pure chance so rollouts weren't a lethal gamble for a change. day over yet still so many more spots we could have dusted off, we'll save them for next time. lbd and the rest of the lords, you were missed...

barry took some rather great photos of the day, mixed in are some by russ and gonz.

Saaarfend Mate

Russ took a trip up the A12 last Thursday to visit Ben, Will and Jay Tate in sunny Southend. As usual the spots were aplenty and more footage was logged, Mr Tate filmed some rather nice bits despite the groin strain!?(see pic 2, "this is where it hurts mate"). A return visit with a full crew very soon.

Crack in the Clouds (for those who know)...

We managed to get a quick skate in on Sunday, it was a good crew but not alot went down due to a late start and a ropey spot from Russ. The saving grace was left to the end of the day though, with Sandy taking the man of the match honors. Well played S-J!

Skate Down Memory Lane

Sunday was a very productive day for footage and spots, due to Russ digging deep into the old spot list and digging out some old long forgotten spots from his youth in Clacton and the surrounding areas. Special thanks to Sandy and Veran who had to put up with Russ and Gonz bleeting on all day about "how many years had passed since we last skated this" and "I remember when this was all fields" still it was definately worth it.
