New Skaterham Spine...

South London update! Paul and MN homies Gorm and Ray popped over to Skaterham's new spine mini on Saturday...Dave would love it, it's steeeeeep! They also have a great outdoor area with a large mini, nice ledge and some tiny quarterpipes and flatbanks not to mention the indoor vert. Later, refreshments were provided by The Fox pub.

tantrum...

(0.7MB quicktime)

Oooooh, handbag of fire, madam? Frustration at not getting a trick at the old Chelmsford bus station before it was demolished mixed with wonky knee and soggy board still don't add up to a decent excuse for Paul's tizz. Just deserts. LBD sets the record straight!

How's Life in Begium...

MN belgian homie Bram recently got back to Europe from a stint in SF in preperation for moving back there for good...lucky so and so. Bram puts together Life Support Zine and we thought this would be a good excuse to post his lo-fi zine video series called 'How We Live'...nothing but raw skateboarding, travelling, drinking and friendship. ruling!

p.s. Important Chelmsford trivia: Stella also comes from belgium.

Save Southsea Skatepark!

It's looking like Portsmouth council are dead set on closing Southsea Skatepark sometime in September which would be a terrible blow to both Southsea skateboarding and the UK as a whole. The Monster Network has strong ties with Southsea going back many years so we're joining Bored and the skatepark user group in trying to stop the council in it's tracks. If you could spare a few seconds and put your name down on the online petition it could make a real difference!

For further information and details on user group weekly meetings and progress check the Bored website.

Also added to the Editorial section is Dave's recent Sidewalk Distractions article from May's issue including photos by Paul.

A bit of super8 footage good logged and Gorm pulled out his camera (with Paul and Ray on 'the monkey presses the button' duties for Gorm snaps). The boys back in Essex are going to be stoked when they come down for a visit! For more Gorm photos check out gorminator...
